After graduating from Ursinus College in 1970 I moved to Lake Harmony to
be close to Pocono ski areas. As an avid skier, I became a certified ski instructor with
Professional Ski Instructors of America and a certified race coach with the United States
Ski Association. I worked as Assistant Ski School Director at Camelback and Jack Frost
Mountain before becoming Ski School Director and Race Coach at Big Boulder for many years.
My wife, Ann, and I, have 2 daughters, Jennifer and Erin, who are also
sports enthusiasts and teachers in local school districts.
I obtained my real estate sales license in 1972 and started my career as a
salesman for Broadscope, Inc. at Towamensing Trails. I became a Broker in 1974 and after
working as Sales Manager for Northeast Land Co. and Pocono West Real Estate; I opened my
own real estate company specializing in sales, appraisals, land development and modular
construction. Most recently I served as Broker of Record for Poco North Realty and I
served on the Contempri Homes Builder’s Advisory Board for many years.
